The Farm

Twenty-two acres in Collin County. One family. A commitment that started in 2018 and gets stronger every season.

Sustainable. Transparent. Humane. We rotate our cattle across pasture to build healthy soil and reduce parasite pressure. Our broilers move to fresh ground every single day. Our hens have full daytime access to the land. Nothing is confined. Nothing is pushed beyond what nature intended. We monitor every animal daily. We maintain closed-flock biosecurity. We source our chicks from Benjamin Davis at Windy Meadows Hatchery with full vaccination programs. Our cattle are vaccinated for the diseases common to North Texas — because prevention is stewardship, not a contradiction of our values.

We do not use synthetic fertilizers or pesticides anywhere on this farm. We do not use growth hormones. We do not use prophylactic antibiotics. We manage through husbandry — good breeding, good housing, good feed, and daily attention. No antibiotics. No hormones. No shortcuts. Ever.

Our cattle are American Maine Anjou — a heritage breed, 100% full-blood and AMAA registered — born and raised on this property from start to finish. Our laying hens are heritage breeds selected for foraging and temperament: Rhode Island Reds, Australorps, and Buff Orpingtons. Our broilers are Cornish Cross, sourced from Windy Meadows Hatchery and raised on open pasture from the day they leave the brooder. Every animal has a purpose here. Every animal is cared for daily. That's not a marketing line — it's just how a farm works when the people running it actually live on it.

Transparency is not a strategy for us. You are welcome to come see exactly how your food is raised. Farm pickups happen every Wednesday from 12pm to 6pm at 4400 Glenwood Lane, Anna, TX — and we are always glad to show you around. If you have questions about how we do something, ask.
