Not everyone needs a five-pound bird and a week of leftovers.
The Solo Bird is our single-serve pasture-raised fryer chicken — 2.5 to 3.5 lbs of the same Cornish Cross we raise on open pasture in Anna, Texas, sized for one person and built for your weeknight. It fits neatly in a Ninja air fryer (or any countertop unit) and comes out golden, juicy, and done in about 19 minutes at 375°F.
This is not a smaller, cheaper version of our standard bird. It's a different product for a different need. Same pasture. Same practices. Same family raising it. Just sized for you.
Why Fitness-Minded Eaters Choose The Solo Bird
- One whole bird = ~60–70g of complete protein with no filler, no brine, no processing
- Clean macros: pasture-raised fat profile, zero additives, zero preservatives
- No antibiotics, no growth hormones — ever
- Whole-food meal in under 20 minutes after a workout
- Carnivore, keto, and paleo compatible — just bird
How to Cook It — Air Fryer Method
Preheat air fryer to 375°F. Pat bird dry. Season as desired — olive oil, salt, and garlic is all you need. Place breast-side down for 10 minutes, flip breast-side up, cook another 8–10 minutes. Internal temp 165°F at the thigh. Rest 5 minutes. Done.
Fits: Ninja AF101, Ninja Foodi, Cosori 5.8 qt, and most standard 5–6 qt basket air fryers.
